ABOUT LIZ CONNOLLY
I\'m a hard worker and extremely positive person. I enjoy time outdoors in nature and spend my spare time camping, hiking and gardening, I\'ve an allotment which is perfect for relaxing. I\'m passionate about great furniture design, history, art and architecture, I particularly like iconic design pieces and have managed to collect a few of my favorites over the years. I trained as a spatial designer/ interior architecture at art school and went on to teach this in a design college in Cyprus before I joined the family company in furniture in 1994. In 2004 having gained valuable experience in running a company I opened my own shop in Wigan under the Durham pine franchise and then as an independent Express furniture.
