I’m a senior UX researcher with 5+ years of experience in mixed-methods research, design thinking, UX writing, UX strategy, and full-stack collaboration. My career didn’t begin in tech—before entering the world of research and design, I taught modern languages for 13 years, followed by 8 years raising my son. That time honed my empathy, communication, and storytelling skills—perfect foundations for understanding users.In 2019, I retrained in full-stack web development at Lambda School, and everything clicked. I discovered the magic of UX—and I’ve never looked back. Since then, I’ve led impactful research across sectors from governance to healthcare, built research operations from the ground up, mentored teams, and helped organisations transform their approach to user-centred design.I’m endlessly curious, ethics-driven, and on a mission to make research accessible, inclusive, and impactful. Whether I’m mentoring designers, writing UX microcopy, running participatory design sessions, or creating a research repository from scratch, I bring energy, insight, and a love for learning.Oh, and I have enough cats to give my UX supervillain origin story credibility.
