Pre- and Post-Sales Technical Support: Providing exceptional technical support for Twists Next Generation Sequencing Target Enrichment portfolio, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful implementation of workflows- Collaborated with key opinion leaders to develop panels across a range of applications such as: Rare Inherited Diseases, Oncology (fusion detection and MRD), Methylation, Agrigenomics, Pharmacogenomics, Ancient DNA and Aging. Experienced designing panels against both human and non human genomes- Demonstrated expertise in panel design by extensively optimising oligo probe design, ensuring best in class performance across various applications and achieving low off-target rates for both short read and long read panels. Collaborated closely with the R&D team to optimise probe placement algorithms, leveraging data-driven approaches to continuously enhance panel design and performance- Provide bioinformatic enablement to customers, troubleshooting NGS panel performance issues, and optimising panel content and design strategies. Extensive experience working in a unix environment with: IGV, bedtools, catch, bwa, samtools, gatk.
