ABOUT LINDSAY SALDANHA
I’m a Sustainable Investing professional who is passionate about non-concessionary sustainable investing for both financial returns and positive impact. I currently work at OPTrust, one of Canada’s largest pension funds managing net assets of almost $22 billion. I have over 8 years of institutional investing experience having previously worked at both Fiera Capital and Manulife Financial. The majority of my career has been tangentially associated to sustainable investing, having spent most of my time in infrastructure debt, but my current role has the intentionality and direct association that I have been striving for. My prior experience includes investing in renewable energy assets, public private partnerships in the social and transportation sectors, and being a member of the Fiera Global Impact Committee; responsible for approving eligible investments across asset classes for the Fiera Global Impact Fund using a proprietary impact scoring methodology.
