ABOUT LINDSAY A. HELLER

I am a compassionate family law attorney who works closely with clients to navigate complex family law matters. While possessing extensive trial experience, I remain settlement oriented as I assist individuals across New Jersey and New York with a variety of sensitive family issues, including divorce, child custody and support, equitable distribution of assets, alimony, premarital agreements, domestic violence matters and non-dissolution matters. I am also a certified mediator, ready to assist parties in bringing their case to global resolution.A good listener, I recognize a divorce can have far reaching impacts on a family’s financial future and interpersonal relationships. I strive to respectfully represent clients in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution, while standing ready to litigate matters when necessary to protect their interests. My experience stretches beyond trial to the appellate level.Drawing on my personal experiences, I also take a thoughtful approach to developing custody arrangements and otherwise working with children. Courts often appoint me as Guardian Ad Litem — or even as an attorney — to represent children in acrimonious disputes, providing them an advocate who can voice their best interests to the court.
