ABOUT LINDA MOHR
I am a writer, educator and entrepreneur. My mission is to make a heartfelt difference in the lives of people and pets. As owner of Pet Apothecary for twelve years, I pioneered the first pet care business in Palm Beach County offering evening hours and one-stop shopping for medical, boarding, supply, and grooming services. I learned marketing and management firsthand and have taught in those disciplines at the university level for over thirty years. I have shared my life with feline companions for over thirty-five years. The experience of living with these pets, loving them, and saying good-bye has given me insight into the mysterious, often miraculous, human-animal connection. My memoir, Tatianna—Tales and Teachings of My Feline won the 2008 Merial Human-Animal Bond Award among other awards. I have authored award-winning articles, poems, blogs (Catnip Connection), and stories (Lexie Lee’s Meowlogue) about the human-animal bond and pet loss. Interests: blogging, photography, cats, journal writing, poetry, eBay Specialties: promoting the human-animal bond, marketing and managing small businesses, designing and teaching online courses, speaking on overcoming adversity through journal writing I live in Palm Beach County with three feline Muses Chauncey, Grace and Maggie Mae.
