I have served this great country for over 38 years, through peace and combat, and have honed my leadership and management skill set. I have directed/delivered high-profile projects, and mentored/developed countless leaders. I am a Level 5 leader and a practitioner of servant leadership. I leverage my position and experience to support others and help them achieve self-actualization. I read various books/periodicals each week to keep my leadership knowledge fresh, and glean new ideas to stay relevant/advance others. My leadership paradigm can be boiled down to 1 word: responsibility. I am responsible to the mission, the leaders above me, my peers, and those I am charged with developing. I am also a Professor at Northwood University. In my \"spare\" time, I participate with the Patriot Guard and CVMA.
