ABOUT LINDA HANSEN

I started in Property Management over 30 years ago. Looking for work, I asked the apartment management where we lived if they had openings for a cleaning person. The girl at the desk said that they did not, but they do have an opening for a Leasing Agent. I told her “I do not have office experience” and she said “That is Okay, We will train you,” and the rest is history! Over the years I worked my way up to a Regional Director. I had a passion and skill for marketing and leasing and soon became the Director of Marketing. For years, I have been a part of The Yarco Company located in Kansas City, MO. I travel to any of their 100 assets in seven states helping with leasing, marketing including internet marketing and reputation management as well as management operations. My passion is customer service. “Qualified applicants have choices of where they choose to live. If the carpet is carpet and a pool is a pool, then it is the personal experience that keeps occupancy rates up and turnover down.” Understanding how we treat our residents and prospects will affect the community’s NOI, I have created a program to monitor the positive relationships between the onsite management team, prospects, and residents. I call it Treat\'em R.I.T.E, and it stands for Respect, Interest, Thoughtful, and Enthusiasm. Together, R.I.T.E. creates a great customer experience. I am blessed with my family and love being with them. I love to travel, but wherever I happen to be on a nice day, I want to be outside. Specialties: Apartment community lease-ups.
