ABOUT LINDA SMITH
I have been in procurement and sales for the past 25 years. Both are exciting and provide considerable challenges. Procurement is my passion and indirect spend categories are my areas of choice, although, I have considerable experience with other areas e.g. IT Services. With my sales backgroud I am able to help the sales teams more effectively with special deals, additional discounts etc. My previous role with Fujitsu was based on Category Management Travel Procurement across the whole of Europe, Middle East and Africa managing 14 suppliers and a budget of £30m. Relationships are key to the success of a good category plan that results in cost savings, reduced risk and a service that is positively reviewed by its customers. I am now using my procurement skills to transform services in my new company.Specialties: Corporate relationships, sourcing strategies, competitive programmes.
