ABOUT LINDA MYERS

As a corporate director and previously as a member of the senior leadership team at Kirkland & Ellis, I am routinely called upon in the room where it happens! I hold board leadership roles at LCI Industries, Marex Group plc, Gibraltar Industries, Chelsea Lighting, Eurowag, NACD, Kinzie Capital Partners, and the National Philanthropic Trust and serve on various committees responsible for audit/risk management oversight, compensation and human resources, capital structure and asset management, as well as governance matters and ESG. My practice has entailed counseling boards and senior executives of public and private corporations on a variety of corporate financing matters and related market terms. The ability to embrace change, read the room, and maintain focus on the desired business outcomes are hallmarks of my approach. As a member of Kirkland’s global management committee, I was a key participant in steering the Firm’s business affairs and also chaired the Firm’s administrative committee, which handles policy-making. I sat on the audit committee, and served on the finance and compensation committees, while I continued to serve and grow major client relationships. I established Kirkland’s Diversity Integration Task Force, which sets policies and continually enhances our commitments to diversity and am a founding member of Kirkland’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. I also served on the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which focuses on effective recruitment, retention, and promotion of attorneys.
