ABOUT LINDA COBB
After graduating with a Degree in Psychology, I began my career in property as an Estate Agent with Bairstow Eves (Countrywide), where I spent eight formative years learning the ropes of the housing market!In 2005, I joined the newly formed Decent and Safe Homes (DASH) team within Derby City Council but working on behalf of Local Authorities across the country.Over the years DASH has grown into one of the UK’s top three training providers for Local Authority Officers operating in the Private Rented Sector (PRS), with expertise in HHSRS, Damp and HMO training. My work is rooted in the Housing Act 2004 but continues to evolve as I prepare for the Renters Reform Bill and Supported Housing Act being introduced.I work closely with the fantastic team who operate the National Code for Larger Student Developers where I offer advice & guidance via the committee of management and consortium as the ANUK member.Managing multiple accreditation schemes that are underpinned by solid foundations offer real value to landlords, tenants, and local authorities alike.
