ABOUT LILANA G.
I am a Senior Engineer with over 34 years of work experience. Electronic Data Systems provided my solid foundation with their System Engineer Development program starting in 1985, right after college graduation. After nearly 3 years with EDS, I spent 9 years as a contract programmer/analyst. I learned many different business applications working on Tandem/NSK platforms. In 1997, I became a permanent employee of Compaq computers. On my own, I studied web development at NBDC and eventually earned Microsoft Certifications. For 3 years I worked on Windows platforms with Visual Studio in development. In 2003, I began work at ACI Worldwide as a Senior Engineer working on the BASE24-eps electronic payments application. I am a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Also, I am a hardworking employee, co-worker, and friend. My ideal work environment is a combination of challenging work, learning opportunities, collaborative and cohesive co-workers, at a community involved company. I have a very logical mind, which lends well to a technical career. I am very independent but I know when to ask for help. Being approachable is also one of my most complimented qualities. I teach my children that compassion, consideration, respect, trust, and love of family are the most important qualities that I hope I display and instill in them. And I love pets, especially Scottish Terriers.
