ABOUT LIA SYLVESTRI

I’m a visionary leader who knows that believing in a future, and helping others believe, is a necessary step to success. I’ve led strategy, business development, and long and complex project management engagements across the biopharma informatics field, from consultation to co-founding a successful only-in-its-class software design company. With years of experience helping to design and implement software solutions from early discovery through late-stage development, I listen deeply to the pain points, challenges, and goals of clients and colleagues and help them architect a solution that helps them break through to their next level- I identify future trends and embrace them, and generate excitement in others to move forward- A blend of detail-oriented and visionary, I design and build frameworks and drive the focus and creativity required for success- My foundational knowledge is in hands-on lab management, instrumentation, the disciplines around science, the inner workings of technologies and how to apply them in scientific environments, applying standards and validation principles and understanding regulatory requirements- Layered on this foundation is a keen understanding of project management principles, prioritization, and the decision-making process that leadership faces, influenced by organizational and financial goals. My passion for discovering new ideas and novel ways to build success is infectious and I lead others to find that same passion.
