ABOUT LIANNA KUSHI
Lianna is an operator and community builder who is passionate about using entrepreneurship and education to help uplift under-connected and underestimated individuals out of poverty. Her career has included building programs, raising capital, and leading teams, always centering people at the heart of her work. She currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for Life Science Cares, partnering with biopharma leaders to invest in a national movement to fight poverty. Previously, she was the Managing Director of Regional Development at OneGoal, a premier postsecondary access and advising organization. Before that, Lianna was part of the founding team of EforAll’s nonprofit accelerator.Lianna received her B.A. from Smith College, an M.A. in Economic Development from UMass Lowell, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice at Tufts University. Based in Los Angeles, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors, especially road-tripping with her daughters.
