ABOUT LEXIE ELLINGWOOD
There is little success where there is little laughter.\"- Andrew CarnegieAs the Assistant Managing Director of Sales - US-ISO for Hilton Worldwide sales I get the chance each day to work and laugh with outstanding clients and colleagues. My current role has me partnering with US based customers on their international meeting needs and leading the incredible HWS US-ISO team. I have had the immense pleasure of working for Hilton Worldwide my entire career. They have afforded me many amazing experiences and have helped me to grow as a sales professional throughout many positions within the company. Who knew a girl from Minneapolis would end up at the University of Houston and the Conrad N. Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant management? From there Hilton would hire me at Hilton Direct in Dallas as a sales representative to work on smaller groups partnering with West Coast clients as well as HelmsBriscoe and ConferenceDirect. After getting my feet wet in Dallas, I was promoted to be on the opening sales team as a convention sales manager for the Hilton Americas Houston. Here I was focused on the Corporate and Sports segments. We made it through a Superbowl and an MLB All-Star game in the same year. Being part of opening a 1200 room hotel was a tremendous adventure. Next up, back to the Midwest, Chicago this time and promoted as a National Sales Manager selling all Hilton Worldwide Hotels to Corporate, Intermediary, Sports and Association group business in the central region of the US. Some five years later Hilton promoted me to Director of Sales focusing on technology and telecommunications accounts first on the west coast and then the east coast. Next up Hilton promoted me to Director of Group Sales focusing on 7 of our top strategic accounts. Fast forward to today and I am thriving in the position as Assistant Managing Director of Sales for the US-ISO team. Hilton\'s international hotel community is stunning, we are thrilled to help you with any international hotel meeting needs. I’m proud to say I’ve seen many successes and I’ve had lots of laughs along the way!
