Wild Forests and Fauna (WildFF) is a US-based 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to protect and restore forests through community-based projects. WFF\'s approach is to support local leaders and build conservation capacity in threatened forest regions. Much of our focus to date is in Peru\'s Madre de Dios region of the southwestern Amazon where WFF co-manages the Amazon Center and Amazon Academy, working in partnership with local institutions. WFF is in its fourth year of implementing a reforestation and education campaign in the Gulu district of Uganda, as well as several pilot projects in the United States.
