Production Manager responsibilities:• Plan to achieve and/or exceed Revenue requirements• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personal information• Maintain professional standards of appearance, manner, discipline and work including personal work area• Comply with Company Policies including Health and Safety procedures• Escalate any concerns impacting operations to the Head of Operations• Support and lead the team to ensure that the build plan and customer deadlines are achieved and/or exceeded• Contribute to and lead the implementation of continuous improvement activities that will impact the profitability of the product range• Work with the team to create a world-class manufacturing facility that is always customer ready and has the “wow” factor• Prioritise tasks to address and avoid any bottlenecks or problems that occur during the assembly and test process• Effectively communicate to the team relevant and pertinent issues that impact their working environment• Complete one to ones and annual reviews that are aligned with company values, strategic objectives and the individual’s achievable aspirations• Maintain and promote a safe, clean, tidy and amicable working environmentManufacturing Engineering responsibilities:• Significant Build, Commissioning and Testing supervisory experience • Ensure Critical to Quality (CTQ’s) characteristics are identified and maintained• Identify and resolve design, supply or manufacturing-related issues• Liaise with our development team to resolve product technical issues• Liaise with suppliers (through Supply Chain) to improve quality, process and cost control• Ensure the smooth transfer of new products into Production using established NPI process• Implement best practice in manufacturing methods• Comfortable getting ‘stuck in’ in resolving the complex product assembly issues
