Senior Associate specialising in resolving construction, engineering and technology related commercial and insurance disputes including claims against professionals such as architects, surveyors and engineers, as well as related professional services claims including disputes involving property management and the provision and application of associated information and communications technology and services. I undertake specialist defence, recovery and general insurance advisory work for a number of insurer clients and regularly represent Lloyds and other London Market underwriters and international insurers and their professional clients at pre-action, mediation and settlement negotiation meetings. I also advise insurers and underwriters in respect of coverage disputes and claims by third parties in accordance with the Third Parties (Rights Against Insurers) Act 2010. In addition, I act on behalf of a range of public and private sector clients on commercial and contractual disputes arising out of complex construction and engineering appointments and manage adjudication proceedings arising from contractual dispute resolution provisions and in accordance with the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (as amended). As well as appearing for clients in the County Court and managing litigated proceedings in the higher Courts, I also advise and represent property estates managers and construction and engineering professionals before industry and regulatory bodies and at associated professional conduct hearings and disciplinary tribunals (including the RIBA/ARB, RICS, CIAT and the Federation of Master Builders).
