ABOUT LEONORA GARBER

I\'m the founder of Tangy Affairs, a North London–based small-batch fermented foods brand creating handcrafted, unpasteurised kimchi with bold flavour, crunch, and quality ingredients. Before starting Tangy Affairs, I worked in marketing across content creation, copywriting, and marketing operations in the tech sector, developing campaigns, email nurture flows, and digital content across the customer journey.My interest in food led me to complete a professional culinary course and work in a high-end restaurant kitchen, where I developed a deep appreciation for ingredients, technique, and flavour.I had always wanted to find an outlet for my creativity and the freedom to express it fully. Tangy Affairs became the place where I combined my two passions: cinema and food. The brand blends cinematic storytelling, humour, and playful theatrics to create a premium but entertaining world where every jar has personality. Its flagship product, Mild Suspect kimchi, introduces Kim Chi — the femme fatale of ferments.My goal is to promote vegetable-rich, fermented eating while making it fun, flavour-driven, and engaging rather than clinical or health-focused.Having lived, studied, and worked around the world, I bring a multicultural perspective shaped by different cuisines and cultures.
