ABOUT LEITH PETRIE

Proficient in sales/customer service/logistics and procurement with a degree in Marine Biology To date, my career has been highly focused on sales within the automotive industry which has provided a thorough understanding on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems applied in a mobile industry. Within these roles I have also dealt extensively with logistics, procurement and IT within the offshore sector, primarily aiding in sourcing and delivering goods to local and international clients. I have developed the skills to work both within a team and on my own without supervision and work on my own initiative. My career has allowed me to travel where I represented some of the most advanced automotive companies in Japan, which proves my ability to adapt to new circumstances and communicate effectively. I have a Bsc degree in Marine Biology, which was always a hobby interest of mine and during lockdown I felt was the time to challenge myself. The skills I have further developed within these studies are Microsoft office, excel, ArcGIS, minitab, R, laboratory protocols, sustainability and understanding of the biology within the land and sea.
