ABOUT LEILA HASTINGS

I work at the intersection of healthcare strategy, executive storytelling, and system-level transformation.As Chief of Staff to the Chief Administrative Officer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (a employee pediatric health system), I lead cross-functional initiatives spanning strategy, HR, marketing & communications, legal, risk, and operations. My work often focuses on translating complex clinical and operational challenges into clear narratives, business cases, and strategic initiatives that support executive and board decision-making.I enjoy bringing together perspectives across disciplines — clinicians, operators, marketers, and executives — to align teams around strategies that move organizations forward.My background reflects that interdisciplinary approach. I studied English and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at Emory and earned a Master’s in Management from Cambridge, training that sharpened my ability to think across fields and communicate complex ideas clearly.Earlier in my career, I worked in management consulting and brand strategy, advising organizations across healthcare, technology, and consumer industries on strategy, transformation, and change management.I’m especially motivated by opportunities to advance women’s health, children’s health, maternal care, and patient-centered innovation, where better collaboration and communication can meaningfully improve outcomes for patients and families.
