ABOUT LEE JEFFERY

I’m a Design Leader and Level 5 qualified Coach focused on building high-performing, human-centred design teams.At Sage, I lead and grow multidisciplinary designers, shape ways of working, and help design operate as a strategic partner to product and engineering. My work centres on people, practice and product — creating environments where teams have clarity, autonomy and the support to do meaningful work that drives customer and business impact.Coaching is central to how I lead. My background in design leadership, combined with formal coaching training, enables me to support designers and teams not just in improving craft, but in building confidence, influence and leadership capability. I’m particularly interested in how coaching can strengthen team health, collaboration and performance at scale.Alongside my role, I founded Natter Community, a volunteer-led Manchester community where conversation sparks change.
