ABOUT LEE HUNT

I am an experienced Hardware Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in multiple industries; including the Aviation and Aerospace industry, Defence, Fire Detection and Automotive industries as well as more Commercial product settings, including Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions whilst at Plantronics/Poly.In addition to electronic design, am skilled in Root Cause Analysis, Escalation and Resolution management, and proposing and implementing cost-out and yield increase programmes. Often managing project plans for these improvement programs.I have strong information technology skills including programming in C, C#, VBA and similar programming languages with a Master of Engineering (MEng) focused in Electronic Engineering with Computer Engineering from University of Warwick. Formerly the Principal Engineer at Ontic, in their Sustainment Engineering team. I have recently returned to G.E. Aviation after being sought out due to my existing F35 Product and Test Solution experience as a contracted (Inside IR35) consultant engineer within the Test Systems NPI team.Future interest, will either be for further contract roles, or for a permanent role it would need be a career progression step including management responsibilities. I thoroughly enjoy the softer skills side of work, engaging with both internal and external customers, and mentoring more junior engineers through their Professional Development. I am also a keen advocate of process improvement activities, and empowering teams to improve the way in which they work on a day-to-day basis.
