As an HR Specialist supporting the People & Culture team for the Avolta brands Hudson and HMSHost at Tampa International Airport, I provide on-site HR support to both management and hourly team members across retail operations. My role spans the full employee lifecycle and ensures compliance with company policies, labor laws, and airport requirements.Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the on-site HR representative, supporting operations leaders and team members in a high-volume airport environment. • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, including postings, screening, interviews, offers, and new hire orientation. • Support employee relations by coordinating investigations, addressing concerns, and maintaining confidentiality. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, collective bargaining agreements, and landlord/airport policies. • Provide guidance to employees on compensation, scheduling, benefits, and policy interpretation. • Maintain accurate HR records and leverage HRIS systems for reporting and data management. • Partner with corporate People & Culture teams to implement initiatives and strengthen workplace culture.
