Responsible for delivering Capex / OpEx projects for sustaining operations in areas with the pharmaceutical plant for Black / Clean Utilities equipment / operations / Quality Control / Warehouse / Packaging / Facilities: Key responsibilities:• Project Management: Project manage scopes from initiation BOD, through to detail design / procurement, construction, commissioning / validation and close out. • Technical Change Control: Facilitate technical Management of Change reviews for all plant modifications and drive timely close out of all actions prior to construction and commissioning.• Change Control: Responsible for managing scope change ensuring change requests are categorised as either variations or growth and client approval is gained before work commences. • Reporting: Report progress to managed services lead, capital projects manager, client, department leads / functional area managers on a weekly basis. • Construction: Construction Lead for project responsible for the day-to-day work carried out by construction team. Duties include planning workloads and delegating tasks. Also responsible for the practical management and planning of every stage of a construction project. Ensure projects are completed safely, within budget and on time.• Budget holder: Responsible for overall project budgets including engineering, procurement, and construction. • Safety: Act on behalf of client as PSDP & PSCS on projects. o Legal compliance. Keeping up to date with changes in the legislation and standards through continual professional development.o Conducting risk assessments and reviewing them regularly.o Developing safe systems of work based on the findings of risk assessments.o Controlling white Board meetings prior to start of construction works on day-to-day basis.
