ABOUT LEE ANN MARCHIONNA

I’m Lee Ann, Chief People Officer at Arbor Biotechnologies, where I get to bring my passion for people to life every day, driving performance, innovation, and a thriving culture. With 25+ years of experience, I specialize in creating strengths-based cultures, optimizing talent, and helping people find joy in their work so organizations can grow sustainably.I’m a big believer in Gallup’s strengths-based approach—basically, helping people do what they’re naturally great at, so teams can hit their peak potential. My goal is simple: create environments where people can thrive and performance soars. If you’re not having fun while getting stuff done, what’s the point, right?Before Arbor, I was on a bit of a career adventure—serving as a senior HR executive for global giants like Thermo Fisher Scientific, Hologic, and Dell EMC. I also spent 7 years running my own consultancy, offering fractional CHRO services to startups. I’ve led HR functions at Biogen Idec, Genzyme (a Sanofi company), Jabil Circuit, and Kimberly-Clark, helping companies evolve through organizational transformations and aligning talent with business strategy.On the personal side, I’m a six-star World Marathon Major finisher and a 3X Ironman Championship qualifier (yes, I’m that person who runs AND bikes AND swims). I channel the same discipline, focus, and resilience in my professional life that I do during those grueling races. Personal growth and performance aren’t just things I talk about—they’re the way I live, lead, and help others reach their fullest potential.I hold an MBA from Binghamton University and a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York, but I’m always learning, always growing, and always up for a new challenge.
