ABOUT LEANNE DAVEY
Education researcher exploring debt sustainability and education with the SDG4 Leadership Team at UNESCO. This role supports more equitable and inclusive education for all, with focus on better, more efficient and effective investments into education. I am also a board member focused on Literacy and Education Coordination for Impactful Education - a non-profit organization based in Cote D\'Ivoire, which aims to improve basic education within a rural community. Prior to this, I spent 4 years with UNESCO\'s Future of Learning and Innovation Team working on higher education, and futures of knowledge and research, with focus on the African context. I had the opportunity to design, coordinate and attend an international Forum in Addis Ababa, which facilitated conversations with experts from around the world to discuss the importance of epistemic justice and valuing multiple knowledge systems, equitable research partnerships and valuing voices and expertise from Africa. Also a qualified Social Worker, Master in Global Development and Education, and volunteer. Worldwide travel fanatic and always looking to learn new skills. Experience in international education research, futures of education, higher education, and knowledge and education for sustainable futures within an international environment. Knowledge of and experience working in international organizations. Experience in front line support work with children and adults in vulnerable or challenging situations, including with children\'s services, tailored support services for adults with complex needs, and within refugee camps.
