ABOUT LÉA LATASSA

With 7+ years of experience in editing and digital post-production, I transitioned into digital marketing to promote talent in visual effects and animation. Passionate about visual storytelling, I specialize in creating high-quality content, including VFX breakdown reels, demoreels and interviews. My technical expertise allows me to produce visually compelling materials that resonate with audiences, clients, and future talents. I have extensive experience coordinating the presence of teams and booths at major industry events such as the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, PIDS, Cannes Film Festival, FMX, and SATIS, among others. I oversee the creation of conference materials, panel discussions, and masterclasses, and I provide coaching for speakers to ensure they deliver impactful presentations. In my PR role, I collaborate with teams to write press releases, which I then distribute to my well-established network of industry contacts. Additionally, I manage the awards season, developing content for submissions and handling procedures for prestigious awards such as the VES Awards, Annie Awards, Genie Awards, and César Awards. I create marketing materials to promote our studios, including presentations, studio profiles, and talent bios. I also led the press junkets for the promotion of Mikros Animation’s work on TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. Furthermore, I design and implement marketing campaigns to highlight both the studio’s talents and its unique specialties, reaching not only our clients but also potential and future talents in the industry. In addition, I have managed the studios\' websites on WordPress, as well as their social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.), ensuring consistent engagement and visibility. With 7+ years of marketing experience, I am skilled at providing constructive feedback, managing complex projects, and communicating ideas clearly and concisely. My versatility and strategic thinking allow me to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, always ready to tackle challenges with intellectual curiosity and a thoughtful approach.
