Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments in the laser, brake, folding, turret and shake departments to ensure the production of STMC products are of the highest level of quality while striving for the most economical processing costs to meet performance and cost standards, customer specification and delivery requirements in accordance with STMC policies and procedures.1. Plan production schedules and organize work to utilize available skills, knowledge, experience, equipment and tooling to achieve STMC quality, workmanship delivery and safety goals.2. Ensure the training of new and current employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety.3. Participate in STMC leadership meetings.4. Embrace Lean Manufacturing principles and support 6S activities.5. Adhere to the preventative maintenance procedures and help to plan the repair of machines and equipment to minimize downtime.6. Assist in the development, recommendations, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, processes, and methods.7. Continually evaluate processes, methods and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of personnel, and quality of product.8. Act as a technical resource to respond to concerns and challenges for collective resolution with the assistance of your team members.9. Monitor departmental supplies, tools and equipment.10. Ensure the completion of all required production paperwork, electronic records and documentation such as timecards, quality records, and M1 reporting.11. Comfortable with Microsoft office products Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. with proficient keyboard skills as well as familiarity with ERP programs.12. Propose recommendations for and appropriately manage vacation schedules.13. Ensure compliance with departmental housekeeping standards, safety rules and regulations identified in the employee handbook.
