ABOUT LAURIE N ZUCKERMAN

With over fifteen years of experience in non-profit development and communication, I am a multi-faceted professional who can create and execute effective strategies to engage and inspire diverse audiences. I currently serve as the Communications Director at ESRAG - Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group, a global network of Rotarians committed to environmental action and advocacy. In this role, I lead and support various initiatives to amplify the environmental work of Rotarians, connect them with resources and best practices, and foster a culture of sustainability and responsibility. I coordinate webinars, virtual and hybrid events, newsletters, blogs, social media, and internal communications, leveraging my skills in fundraising, event planning, volunteer management, and communication. In our first 18 months we grew from one team to five specialized teams and one contractors to three. I also co-managed the creation of EXPO, a 3-D virtual reality convention center that showcased the environmental projects of 23 teams from different regions. I am passionate about empowering people to use their skills and talents to improve human and planetary health, and I enjoy collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations.
