PORTFOLIO - laurie-kinzie.com I knew as a young child, that education and training would be my profession. After many years of being in the classroom, I chose to transition my love of learning into corporate America. I have known for many years, that I wanted to direct my talents and skills to adult learners. I have taken a course by one of the leading Instructional Designers (Dr. Robin Sargeant) and feel very confident that my skills and knowledge are top-notch! I am a creative and passionate instructional designer and eLearning developer with years of experience producing high-quality, engaging eLearning courses, videos, infographics, and job aids that meet the needs of the learners as well as business performance objectives. I have an insatiable love of learning! ℎI use various evidence-based instructional design models such as ADDIE, Backwards Design, and SAM. Additionally, I conduct gap analyses and collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) and stakeholders in order to create clear and measurable objectives to create storyboards, develop assessments, write scripts, and author in-person and eLearning courses.Articulate Storyline and Rise, Camtasia, Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft, Audacity, 7taps I have always been passionate about both learning and technology, I have been finding innovative ways to integrate technology to enhance learning in my role. I have learned most software programs on my own or by attending conferences. I created a curriculum for a course for which I received a grant for Interactive Media. I am ready to move into the corporate world where there is more room for innovative solutions and where I can make a direct impact to help organizations achieve their goals.
