ABOUT LAUREN BEACH

I\'m currently a Junior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Radio, Television, and Film and minoring in Business. Throughout my college experience I aim to further grow my skill set with a focus on producing and directing. My classes thus far have allowed me to learn more about screenwriting with focus on three-act-structure, production in both small and large scale projects, and the business of entertainment with what factors and planning go into any film work.My various internships in film and social media marketing have gone hand in hand with my studies to further prepare me for future work in production. BASH Entertainment gave me hands on experience in working with represented clients to pitch them for potential roles and collaborations in their respective fields. As a Digital Talent and Brand Partnerships intern, I also had the opportunity to work directly with the marketing team to strategize the release of a new film including the soundtrack launch and overall plan for social media. By working for SMC Media, I\'ve taken more of a management role where I still asist content creators with overall planning but also ensure deliverables are met with client satisfaction. In various social media internships I\'ve taken on, I have gained extensive knowledge in in marketing from multiple fields such as real estate, delivery, fashion, and more.As for my roles within the university, I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha where I currently am the Vice President of Communications as well as a Student Broadcast Assistant for Texas Studios. In Zeta as the VP of Communications, I manage all of our social media platforms and potential brand partnerships. In this position, I\'m able to come up with a test strategies in order to reach various audiences (potential new members, alumni, current students, etc.). Working with brands such as Poppi, Rag and Bone, and more to assist in their marketing strategies has been rewarding to gain real world experience with companies that our chapter is excited to collaborate on! Working for Texas Studios has also been an incredibly rewarding experience by allowing me to learn more about sport broadcasting. This role includes working in multiple positions including assistant director, replay assistant, post game highlights assistant, with room to grow and learn. Not only does this encourage me to be able to be quick to adapt to any role, but any piece of professional equipment as well which is both challenging and exciting! I can\'t wait to continue to learn and grow in both my education and positions!
