ABOUT LAUREN MIKES

I\'m a recent Miami University graduate driven by my passion for creativity, strategic thinking, and growth! One thing I love about the dynamic field of marketing is the incredible results that can be achieved from a well-thought-out strategy. My participation in consulting projects through the Farmer School of Business has played a key role in deepening my understanding of consumer behavior, data-driven decision-making, and KPIs. These invaluable experiences have shaped my analytical mindset and taught me how to leverage my strengths to succeed within a team. My lifelong interest in the fashion industry led me to pursue a Fashion co-major, which has been an incredible way to enhance my creativity and attention to detail. From experimenting with different textiles to crafting a portfolio of designs, I\'ve approached new challenges with originality and determination. In addition to the creative aspects of fashion, I\'ve learned how to execute essential business functions, including planning, buying, and trend forecasting. I was involved on campus as a member of the Alpha Chapter of Delta Zeta, Miami University\'s Asset Management Club, and Days for Girls. I also worked as a bartender at Brick Street. These commitments allowed me to build community, make meaningful connections, and develop strong time management skills.
