I currently lead a team of distributed energy project developers, including energy storage and microgrids, at Duke Energy. This role allows me to generate, pitch, and execute deals to increase clean energy generation for the regulated utility. In 2019 I completed a full-time MBA in energy and real estate development at Kenan-Flagler Business School. During my studies I held leadership roles for Net Impact Club and Energy Club. Prior to business school, I spent four years in a business development role at AppleBlossom Energy, an energy efficiency contractor in the Charlotte, NC area. In this role, I implemented HR, finance, and marketing strategies to pursue growth in the green building space.My passion for business is founded on over 10 years of experience in the consumer sector, including work in brand representation and financial/marketing strategy for a nationally recognized franchise.Other interests include expanding relationships with the international community and supporting diversity and inclusion.
