ABOUT LAURA ZEMAN
My love and passion is to do meaningful work that has a positive impact. Previous to Thoughtexchange, Laura was a Producer and owner of The Earth Network, a media production company designed to create impact, and The SKOOL Project, a global media campaign advocating for youth to have a real voice in education. The SKOOL Project includes two feature films, a variety of short films, and screening toolkit. Laura is helping to lead The SKOOL Project’s global grassroots community engagement campaign. Previously, Laura worked as an Associate Producer, Production Manager and Music Supervisor on the multiple award-winning documentary called, The Search for Freedom, a story about living in the moment and doing what makes you feel the most alive. The Search for Freedom is a Co-production with Universal Pictures and Entertainment One. As part of a small independent team, Laura helped to lead US distribution efforts, which included theatrical, festival, community screenings, and video on demand. Laura has a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, where her research focused on methods for cultivating the intelligence of emotion for personal leadership and organizational leadership. Following her education, Laura designed and taught leadership curriculum\'s to young and adult learners.
