Fun Fact.As a child, my twin sister did all my talking for me at school. That included asking the teacher if I could use the hall pass. True story.But once I found my voice, the world opened up.(Eventually I made the Varsity cheerleading squad!) Fast forward to my professional life. I love connecting with people, finding out their back stories, and diving into difficult issues and injustices that humanity faces. I use my ability to strategically communicate, both empowering and engaging community with knowledge of critical civil rights, social justice, community development, and environmental protection.So what is my secret ingredient for my interpersonal communication skills, informative messaging, and increased awareness for nonprofit organizations and citizen groups?I attribute it to my early entrepreneurial background in sales and marketing - which got me out of my comfort zone - along with a love for helping people. Nowadays, my energy and extrovert personality definitely play a huge part.And, of course, finally being able to ask the teacher for the hall pass myself!
