ABOUT LAURA MACDONALD
I have spent over 25 years working in leadership and organisational development, supporting leaders and teams to think clearly, build trust, and work well together in complex organisations.Currently, I work with senior leaders and teams on leadership development and team effectiveness. Much of my role involves creating space for leaders to step back from the pace of organisational life and reflect on how they lead, how their teams function, and what helps people perform well together over time.Alongside my organisational role, I am a BACP-registered psychotherapist, CIPD qualified, and Tavistock-trained systemic consultant. This background shapes how I approach leadership and organisations. I pay close attention to the human and relational dynamics that influence how people think, relate, and make decisions at work.Across both areas of my work, my interest lies in the realities of organisational life - how authority is experienced, how trust forms, and how leaders create conditions where people and businesses can thrive.
