ABOUT LAURA ESPESETH

I serve as Chief Administrative Officer at Bridgewater Bank, where I oversee the bank’s finance and facilities functions including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, asset/liability management, investment strategy, and internal control processes that support both growth and financial stability. With nearly 25 years of experience working in and serving banks at all levels, I bring a strong foundation in GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. My career has been dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting while ensuring the bank maintains a sound balance sheet and favorable regulatory ratings. Before joining Bridgewater Bank in 2017, I spent over a decade with CliftonLarsonAllen, specializing in serving financial institutions across audit and accounting advisory engagements. I’m a CPA, hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University, and am a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Passionate about fostering a growth-oriented environment where individuals feel valued and supported, I’m committed to mentoring others, embracing challenges, and driving change through collaboration.
