ABOUT LAURA DIAZ ONATE

I have almost 5 years of IT experience, starting as a Global Service Desk analyst and then moving into roles as a Technical Lead, Business Analyst, and now an Information Security Analyst. During this time, I have supported various environments and worked with multiple clients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and making daily contributions to improve their businesses. In my current role as an InfoSec analyst, I help manage security risks and ensure that the organization stays compliant by following and implementing controls for ISO, SOC 2 Report Type 2, and PCI certificates. As part of maintaining security compliance, I deliver annual security and privacy training to all employees and contractors, conduct security awareness moments for learning purposes, and conduct phishing tests. In addition to my current responsibilities, I am expanding my knowledge in PAM access and I am involved in a PAM project within the company. My top technical skills include Risk Management, Audit Controls, Azure, Data Security, Data Analysis, Knowledge Management, Incident Management, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate). Furthermore, my top 5 soft skills are communication, fast learner, proactive, team player, and multitasking. My top 5 strengths include responsibility, empathy, inclusiveness, being a learner, and restorative.
