Working full time onsite with the IT department of an construction equipment rental company with (120+) branches thoughout USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. All activities coordinated from HQ as the company has no dedicated IT presence at local branches. Projects include:• PM/Installed secondary broadband circuits at all branches throughout the company.• PM/Installed dedicated training PCs at all branches throughout the company.• PM/Installed Meraki firewall/security appliances and Meraki indoor and outdoor WAPs at all branches.• Coordination of all contracted ‘hands and feet’ activities for IT for 120+ branches throughout company.• PM for all IT-related activities for opening, closing or relocating branches- approx.(40) branches over 20 months.• PM of IT-related projects and activities for the IT infrastructure teamWorked full time onsite with the IT department of an international chemical and energy company as senior project manager. Projects included:• PM of IT-related activities related to the divestiture of a subsidiary company (chemical plant) to an acquisition company including transfer of all IT infrastructure, computing and support services for the plant, warehouse, and office space for approximately (75) employees.• PM (client side) of transition to outsourcing of managed service desk for the company’s North America operations to a managed server provider in India with a Service Desk in Poland.• PM of data center migration of (32) physical servers and (65) virtual servers from Houston data center to new CoLo data center in Dallas, TX. • PM of Windows 7 image project for newly acquired company with 200+ workstations at multiple sites in Houston and Pennsylvania utilizing Microsoft SCCM technology.• PM of multiple alignment initiatives (servers, printers, cameras, access control, etc.) for newly acquired company from legacy plant networks to parent company’s North America network.
