ABOUT LAURA DAY
Laura is a Director with 16 years experience of Socio-Economics and Environmental Impact Assessment technical services. Laura’s EIA experience spans a range of sectors including residential, commercial, renewable energy, and energy infrastructure. These projects have spanned UK local planning consenting route as well as Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP)/ Development of National Significance (DNS) & Development Consent Order (DCO) applications. Laura’s UK-based socio-economic experience includes preparation of socio-economic impact assessment as part of EIAs, Health Impact Assessments, Equality Impact Assessments, Economic Benefit Statements, Social Value work, development of social assessment toolkits, social performance plans, and extends into validation assurance of CSR reports, and due diligence work for industrial clients. Laura’s international social experience includes preparation of social baselines and assessments for a range of projects, and preparation of subsequent management plans. This work has been undertaken in line with both International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards, EIB, EBRD, and World Bank and regional/national standards as relevant.
