The digital music market is ever shifting. New technologies, new contracts, new services. But also new challenges, new ways of fraud, new ways of flawed data. Online Operations@ICE navigates through this sometimes stormy seas, distributing more than 750 million Euro each year to the creators of music. As VP Online it is my job to lead a team of 50+ operatives across multiple locations in order to ensure a steady and safe process flow. Identifying and mitigating risks as well as driving technical and process change in order to provide layered defences against any risk is part of what makes my life interesting. In order to achieve this, I believe strongly in finding, training and developing the right set of people. Remove obstacles from their path and give them the tools and the responsibility to excel in their jobs as well as developing KPIs that allow them and upper management to always get a realistic view of ‘the engine room’.
