Today, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone and all at Trinity Global Office for the great and amazing welcome as a new staff. I am very grateful for the warm welcome and looking forward to working with all of you on my new role.My message is for everyone and all of those who are crossing challenges and difficulties with uncertainty to never, never loose hope, neither give up no matter what and please keep your head up and focused on what you want to achieve or excel on. Many things around us have so much ethics to question but how we perceive and address things count a lot on our daily journeys. A great pleasure to announce my joy and excitement today in joining the Trinity Global Office as a University of Sanctuary Support Officer who will have responsibility for coordinating, supporting, delivering, and evaluating the University direct supports to students and scholars who are refugees, displaced, or within the asylum system and going through the Irish international protection system. My role will also be involving and acting as a key liaison and contact point at Trinity Global on asylum seeker/refugee supports, including liaising with international and externalStakeholders, networking with partners, government bodies, and other relevant agencies including of course engaging the many amazing civil societies and NGOs doing the great work out there.I look forward to playing fully the role entrusted in me significantly in supporting Trinity’s activities as a University of Sanctuary which includes the Scholars at Risk Network, New University in ExileConsortium, Trinity Sanctuary fund, Sanctuary scholarships, and the Global IncidentResponse Unit.
