Larry led all aspects of the business delivering over 500% growth in 30 months and expanded the retail footprint from ~1,100 stores to well over 2,200.At Winn-Dixie Stores as General Counsel, Larry moved the supermarket chain through a successful restructuring (20••••06) following a bankruptcy and became the primary liaison to the board of directors as the Corporate Secretary. As the company emerged from bankruptcy, he led and drove the corporate and market strategy. Concurrently, he oversaw the Human Resources and Legal departments. Ultimately, Larry shifted from driving administrative business functions into leading Retail Operations across the 482-store chain, the final step in a CEO succession plan.
