I am a CAMS certified professional with a MBA in Finance from GITAM University and a passion for compliance, anti-money laundering, and data quality in the financial services sector. As a Business Analyst at Genpact, I have investigated transaction alerts with a consistent accuracy rate of 99%- 100%, identifying multiple suspicious activities by applying various investigative methods to pinpoint the involved parties. I have also served as a Subject Matter Expert for new teams, guiding them through process standards and procedures, and frequently conducting sessions to stay updated on emerging trends in AML/KYC. In my most recent role as a Compliance Reporting Analyst at Yapstone, I reviewed and investigated over 1600 transaction alerts, achieving a 99% accuracy rate and identifying multiple suspicious activities. I also conducted WUBS Sanctions Screening, using tools like Lexis Nexis Bridger, PIPL, and Google search. Previously, I worked as a US AML Analyst at UBS, where I investigated alerts flagged by the transaction monitoring system, employing various methods to identify involved parties. I identified over 50 entities linked to offshore accounts by leveraging information from ICIJ. I reviewed more than 750 alerts with a 98% accuracy rate, reporting them to the onshore team for further action. I also assisted new team members in understanding the investigation process and bridging knowledge gaps. I have also experience as a Business Analyst at State Street, where I provided middle office services to the client, capturing and delivering data using ESP, an ETL tool. I worked under Agile methodology, analyzing the requirements, writing the test cases, and testing the data from end to end. I am proficient in tools and technologies such as Unit 21, VRP, Transact, ACTIMIZE, COSIMA, Factiva, ESP, Oracle, and Squirrel.
