Procurement of direct and indirect materials for manufacturing of fibreglass boat manufacturing which includes resin, gel coats, fibreglass, glass,foams, carpets, canopy & upholstery materials, electronics, gunnels rubbers, fibreglass, adhesives, wiring harnesses & electrical consumables, timber, boating construction materials, hardware, engines, trailers, stainless steel parts and all factory consumables.• Purchasing spend management, sourcing and negotiation, supplier performance management, stakeholder engagement, implementing cost reduction initiatives and adopting the right strategies to manage procurement function.• Forecasting annual and quarterly plans, issuing monthly and weekly purchasing schedules, and purchase orders to the suppliers. • Product models costing, product/process cost analysis and reporting to senior management. • Warehouse inventory management, liaising with internal stakeholders for current and future business needs.• Ensuring the procure to pay process functions efficiently and effectively, invoice processing and supplier performance, ensuring process compliance.• To attend the production meetings and addressing any supply issues from the production department or marketing department.• Co-ordinating with R&D and subcontractors for new projects, keeping up to date design change variations, maintaining bill of materials updated on the system.• Educating and managing the team to meet business deliverables and DIFOT.• Liaising with transport companies, freight forwarders and overseas suppliers for inbound and outbound logistics.• To ensure that min-max stock levels are maintained and expedite all urgencies.• Liaising with dealers for spare parts requirements, despatch, and warranties.
