I have a background working with people in retail and customer service as a cashier where I have spent 15 years improving my communication and interpersonal skills. I realized that my personality is a great fit for sales, so I have spent the last three months going through an intensive online course in technology sales development. I have read books like How to Win Friends and Influence People, Fanatical Prospecting, and SPIN Selling. I have also learned skills like researching new prospects, cold outreach (Email, Phone, LinkedIn), and running a discovery call using SPIN and BANT.I am currently looking to get started as a sales development rep where I can apply the skills I have spent the last few months learning and practicing.
