ABOUT LAIMONAS LUBYS

I’m a Contracts Manager with a passion for solving technical challenges and building strong client relationships that last beyond the project. Over the years, I’ve delivered some of the UK’s most complex passive fire protection projects across major developments like Nine Elms, Riu Plaza, The Peninsula, 250 City Road, and Nova Victoria.Most recently, I managed the UK’s largest student accommodation fire protection project, overseeing everything from client enquiries and pricing to on-site delivery, handover, and final applications. At times I’ve run over a dozen live projects at once, each with its own challenges, teams, and deadlines — and I thrive on that variety and responsibility.Coming up through the tools from the age of 14, I built my foundation in tiling, drylining, and flooring before moving into management. That hands-on background keeps me grounded and gives me a real understanding of what’s achievable on site.People often describe me as calm under pressure, straight-talking, and detail-focused — and I take pride in that. I’ve been told more than once that I’m the best manager they’ve had, which means more to me than any title.I’m always looking to keep growing, deliver great work, and continue building a professional brand based on trust, quality, and integrity.
