I am a mentor with TMP. Having been a foster child myself I know the importance of having a trustworthy and caring adult in your life. I am hoping to make a difference one cast at a time. We teach foster kids how to fly fish but there is so much more to it than fishing. It is experiencing the outdoors, learning a hobby, building a sense of identity and then the joy of landing a fish. I feel that giving back with my time and knowledge has helped heal my inner child as well as be there for other foster children.
