ABOUT KYLEE EICHMAN

Hi, I\'m Kylee! I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at The University of Alabama with hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing, process improvement, and quality engineering. I enjoy tackling tricky problems, finding ways to make systems run smoothly, and working with teams to make a real difference. I’m looking for full-time engineering roles after I graduate in 2026.At Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, I did co-ops in both Quality Engineering and Series Planning.• Quality Engineering: I set up a process to use management vehicle survey feedback to catch issues early and improve both current production and future models. I also managed plant-wide 3D/8D issue resolution, helped with root cause investigations, and analyzed sensor data for continuous improvement.• Series Planning: I analyzed the Maybach production process, spotting bottlenecks and suggesting improvements. I also optimized assembly processes to save time, designed cost-saving packaging systems, built a plant-wide rack label database, and managed a safety project.Through the Alabama Rural Energy Program (AREP), I worked with small businesses to adopt renewable energy. I did outreach, analyzed utility data, and developed custom sustainable energy solutions, with reports reviewed by certified experts.Working in restaurants taught me teamwork, multitasking, and communication. Fast-paced environments helped me stay organized under pressure and deliver great service.I’m excited to keep learning and growing as a problem-solver and engineer. I’m especially interested in process optimization, and sustainable systems, and I want to combine my skills and teamwork to make a real impact.
